Everlast Laundry
Privacy policy
Last updated August 18, 2026.
The short version. We collect what we need to get your laundry back to you and nothing else. We never see your card number. We do not sell your information and we never will. We use analytics and advertising measurement tools on this website, which is the one place third parties see anything, and section 5 explains exactly what those are and how to switch them off.
1. Who this covers
This policy explains what Everlast Laundry does with personal information, on this website and when you use the service. It applies to customers, to people who contact us, and to anyone browsing the site.
2. What we collect
What you give us. When you book a pickup: your name, mobile number, email address, pickup address, and any access notes you provide such as a gate code, a building type or where the bag sits. Your laundry preferences and add-ons. Whether there is a pet at the door. Anything you type into the chat window or send us by email or text.
What we record about your order. The weight, the charges, the driver notes, the delivery time, and the fact that you accepted our terms, along with which version and when.
What is collected automatically when you visit the site. Your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you looked at, the site that referred you, and rough location derived from the IP address — city level, not your doorstep. This comes from our hosting provider's logs and from the analytics and advertising tools in section 5.
We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, your date of birth, your government ID, or any health information.
3. Payment information
We never see or store your card number. Card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout and held by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. We hold only a token that lets us charge the card after we weigh your order, plus the card brand and last four digits so you can tell your cards apart. See Stripe's privacy policy for how they handle it.
4. Why we use it
- To pick up, clean and return your laundry, and to find your door.
- To text or email you a pickup window, a driver ETA, a delivery notice and a receipt.
- To charge the amount your order actually weighed, and to run memberships.
- To answer you when you write in, and to handle claims.
- To understand how the website is used and whether our advertising works, as described below.
- To keep records we are required to keep, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our terms.
5. Cookies, analytics and advertising tools
This is the section most privacy policies are vague about, so here is the whole picture.
This website uses cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary for it to work — remembering your booking as you move through the steps, and keeping the session secure. Those cannot be turned off without breaking the site.
We also use, or expect to use, third-party tools that measure traffic and advertising:
- Google Analytics, to count visits and see which pages people actually read.
- The Meta pixel, so that when we run ads on Facebook or Instagram we can tell whether they led to real bookings, and so that we can show ads to people who visited the site.
These tools set their own cookies and receive information about your visit, including your IP address, the pages you viewed, and whether you completed a booking. That means Google and Meta receive some information about your visit directly, and they use it under their own privacy policies, which we do not control: Google and Meta.
What we do not do with them. We do not send these tools the contents of your chat messages, your access codes, or your card details. We do not use them to build a profile of you for anyone else's benefit, and we do not let them use your data for their own unrelated purposes where we have the option to say no.
6. Your choices about tracking
- Browser controls. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, apart from the booking flow needing its own session cookie.
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser or an extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of any sharing of your information for targeted advertising, and we honour it.
- Directly with the platforms. You can turn off personalised advertising in Google's Ad Settings and in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences, and you can install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Or just ask us. Email the address at the bottom and we will opt you out on our side.
7. Text messages
When you book you can opt in to order texts at the number you gave us. These are transactional messages about your specific order — window, ETA, pickup, delivery, receipt. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not cancel your order; we will email you instead.
Your mobile number and your consent to be texted are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. The only companies that see your number are the messaging providers who deliver the messages for us, and only so they can deliver them.
8. The chat window
If you use the chat on this site, the messages you send are processed by a third-party AI provider so it can answer you, and we keep a transcript. Do not put payment details, passwords or anything sensitive into the chat — email us instead. Transcripts are kept for one year and are used to answer you, to train our own staff, and to fix bad answers.
9. Who we share it with
Only the companies that make the service run, and only what each one needs:
- Stripe — payments and stored cards.
- Our email and SMS providers — to send confirmations, receipts and order updates.
- Our website host — to serve the site and keep server logs.
- Our AI chat provider — to answer chat messages.
- Analytics and advertising platforms — as described in section 5.
- Our drivers — your name, address, access notes and the pet flag, because they cannot deliver without them.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to respond to a lawful request, to protect someone's safety, or in connection with a sale or reorganisation of the business — in which case this policy continues to apply to the information transferred.
10. We do not sell your information — and your Nevada opt-out right
We do not sell your personal information, we have never sold it, and we do not share it with data brokers.
Nevada residents can still exercise the right on the record. Under NRS 603A.345 you may submit a verified request directing us not to sell the covered information we have collected about you through this website. Send it to our designated request address, hello@everlastlaundrylv.com. We will respond within 60 days, and if we need more time we may take up to 30 days more and will tell you why. Since we do not sell covered information in the first place, our answer will be a written confirmation of that.
This section, together with sections 2, 5, 9 and 16, is also the notice Nevada requires operators to publish under NRS 603A.340: it sets out the categories of covered information we collect, the categories of third parties we share it with, how you can review and request changes to your information, how we will tell you about material changes to this policy, whether third parties may collect covered information about your online activities across different websites (they may — see section 5), and the date this policy took effect, shown at the top of the page.
11. How we protect it
We keep the information on services that encrypt it in transit and at rest, we limit access to the people who need it to run the route, and we do not keep card numbers at all. No system is perfectly secure and we will not pretend otherwise, but we do maintain security practices reasonable for the amount and sensitivity of what we hold, as Nevada law requires.
12. If there is a data breach
If personal information covered by Nevada's breach notification law is exposed, we will notify affected customers in the most expedient time possible and without unreasonable delay, consistent with the needs of law enforcement and any measures needed to restore the system.
13. How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as we are in business plus the period Nevada requires for tax and accounting records. Chat transcripts are kept for one year. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting. Ask us to delete your account and we remove your contact details and address from active systems within 30 days, keeping only what we are legally required to retain and what we need to resolve an open claim.
14. Your rights
Whoever you are and wherever you live, you can write to us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy. We will not charge you, and we will not treat you differently for asking. We may need to verify who you are before we act, which usually means confirming details of an order you placed.
If you live in a state with a comprehensive privacy law that applies to us, you may have additional rights, including the right to appeal a refusal. Use the same address; tell us which state you are in and we will apply the right rules. Some of those laws only apply to businesses above a size threshold that we do not currently meet, but we will honour access, correction and deletion requests regardless of whether we are legally required to.
15. Children
This service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, tell us and we will delete it.
16. Changes
If this policy changes we update the date at the top of the page, and if the change is material we tell you by text or email before it takes effect.
